I visited over the weekend for a reunion. Me and my friends had gotten together to catch up, needless to say we will be back! The friendliness and convenience of the valet Chance really stood out. He was there to answer any and all questions, as well as got the door every time we arrived. Great place.

Great Service and Location, but Mind the View and Storage! My recent three-night stay at The Grady Hotel was, overall, very nice. The beautiful hotel's greatest assets are its location and service. The building has some great history behind it (the historic Swan Hat Store) The staff delivered truly exceptional service! The location is perfect, situated right in the middle of Whiskey Row, making it incredibly convenient for exploring downtown. We also enjoyed the breakfast here every morning; it was reliably good. However, a couple of issues kept this from being a five-star experience: * We paid extra for the River View, but unfortunately, it was heavily obstructed by the Ali Center, which was a real disappointment. Not sure that's cosistent across all the Riverview rooms, I would advise future guests to save their money on this upgrade. * While the room was nice, it was a little smaller than we had hoped, and the storage was noticeably lacking. We really struggled to find a spot for our clothes and bags, which was frustrating for a three-night stay. In Summary: The Grady is a beautiful hotel with top-notch service and a fantastic location. Just be aware of the storage limitations for extended stays and skip the river view upgrade.

Wonderful staff in the hotel and the restaurant. Wanted to put in a good word for our valet, Christina. What a delightful young lady. Very kind and courteous! We love the Grady. Have stayed several times. It’s our go to hotel in Louisville!

The Grady is a very nice boutique hotel within walking distance of whiskey tasting rooms. The front desk, staff, specifically Linda is amazing. She made checking in so fun The rooms were somewhat on the smaller side, but very nice. The in room coffee is really pretty good. We did have some issues keeping the room warm but by the third day, we finally figured it out. The atmosphere here is ready hip. Their restaurant, Wild Swan which is downstairs and the basement, is very nice and the staff down there, specifically Mark, is so friendly and helpful. Most of what we wanted to do was within walking range. However, mostly everything is closed down by 8 pm, including restaurants. And so many things were closed on Monday. Ugh. Tip:you can park for free on the street after 6 pm Friday through early Monday morning. No need valet.

The Grady is a very beautiful, quiet and lavishly decorated hotel that makes you feel really good about choosing it. It sits on the corner of a lovely street, very walkable to a number of businesses and eateries. Super clean, plenty of ammenities. There is in room coffee/tea or you can visit the Wild Swan basement restaurant for a fresh brewed cup and breakfast too. The hotel and restaurant staff are very friendly and hospitable. Everyone wore a smile.

I stayed here for one night on a business trip, the customer service from Farrah at the front desk and Chance the valet was unmatched. They were extremely kind and accommodating! I literally requested their names to leave this review. The bathroom in my hotel room was spacious and amazing, the bed however was soft and not my favorite. I also noticed alot of dust in the room. They have hardwood floors and I could tell they needed wayy more attention. Overall my experience was great, I would stay again.

Fabulous and spooky. When we walked into our room, the light came on in the bathroom automatically. We thought that was a neat trick. We checked later, the light did not have any motion detector. The place is gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous, and the staff first rate. And the Swann, it's bar in the basement was also first rate.

We were stuck with weather travel and made reservations at The Grady on a whim. What a beautiful small hotel! The lobby and artwork are worth spending time to enjoy. The hotel staff was welcoming and could not have been more helpful for travel-weary guests. The rooms were beautifully decorated, bed extremely comfortable, and the Copper Cow pour over coffee in the morning a special treat! The onsite restaurant had a nicely curated menu for casual dining. We would stay here again for a planned getaway!
